Industry Support for our technology

Unasys Technology have been working with Premier Oil on the late life of their Balmoral and Huntington facilities.

Premier have recently committed their support to the ‘Digital North Sea’ and its Technology.

They will continue to offer their support in kind until such time that the Digital Technology can be used as a field trial on at least one of their assets (end of 2018).

IOG is a UK based Development and Production company with established interests in four UK North Sea licences.

Unasys Technology were engaged by IOG in 2016 to help identify infrastructure that may be re-used on their new Southern North Sea Gas hub.

Visits were arranged to the following fields:

  • Horne & Wren
  • Vulcan
  • Orca (Dutch Sector)

A redundant gas export line from the decommissioned Thames field, was identified with potential for reuse.

This line has now been acquired, dewatered and pigged. There are also brownfield modifications taking place at the Bacton terminal.

IOG have pledged further support to Unasys Technology by providing data that will enable the development of a 3D virtual model of their proposed facilities.

We have also met with and discussed the Technology with:

On the Horne & Wren platform together with their removal contractor Skaldis. They were interested in the benefits of point cloud digital technology.

Engie / Neptune

Unasys are currently working with Neptune on Cygnus. We were asked to create a Digital model of the ‘Orca’ platform (Dutch sector), that was to be marked for re-use.

Esri (ArcGis)

Met with them on a number of occasions both in Aylesbury and Teesside. They are very keen to work with us to develop this technology.
